My Test Images

The test isn't quite over yet but it looks pretty certain an England win is on the cards.  I thought I'd jump the gun a little and give you my review of the test, not the play on the field - but my experiences

Day One

Got a real buzz out of seeing the Queen today, even if I didn't get the best of views and had to hang all the way out of a window to get the view I did.

Me on my travels

Sorry things have been a bit quiet on TTF.  I've been on my holidays.  I got back to find the site innundated with SPAM, and it's taken nearly all day to sort it out!

As well as visiting Greece for relaxation I've been on some work related trips recently, visiting Ovington CC and Wirksworth & Middleton last month.  I've uploaded some photographs from my Ovington visit today, please take a look, it was a really beautiful day and I'm looking forward to visiting them again in a couple of weeks for some more race day madness!

Wimbledon Visit

Took a trip to Wimbledon on Saturday, on a bit of a grey drizzly day, didn't feel much like mid-May!  The teams still managed to brave the cold and played a good game with only one short break for rain.

I collected quite a few interviews with some club stalwarts and took loads of photos.  I'll be uploading them soon and creating some new digital stories.

Congratulations Sri Lanka Women!

It's a pity it had to be England Sri Lanka Women beat last week!  But TTF would still like to congratulate them on beating one of the top four international women's teams for the first time.   It's a fantastic achievement, and such an exciting match too.  Well done and good luck for the rest of the tournament.

UPDATE - Sri Lanka beat India and are through to the Super Sixes!  Well done!!!!  Looks like the sky really is the limit for them in this tournament.

Snowing on Lord's

Freezing winter day here at Lord's.  This morning's snow has turned to sleet and hasn't settled - so we can't even make a snowman!

Hope you've enjoyed the two digital stories I've added this year - Talking About Club Generations from Wirksworth & Middleton and The Power of Sport from Foundation of Goodness.  I've particularly enjoyed working on the Sri Lankan stories as some of the recordings have wonderful exotic noises in the back ground like cicades and tropical bird calls, they make me feel warmer!
